Edmonton, AB (My Sportsbook) - The Edmonton Eskimos have acquired defensive back Byron Parker from the Toronto Argonauts in exchange for future considerations. Parker is a two-time CFL All-Star and had been with Toronto since 2005 prior to signing with the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason. He was released on August 15 and returned to play in two games for the Argos this season. The Tulane product is a five-year CFL veteran and has 99 career tackles and 18 interceptions, six of those returned for touchdowns. |
