Orchard Park, NY (My Sportsbook) - The Buffalo Bills on Monday revealed that cornerback Leodis McKelvin has a broken bone in his leg and that safety Donte Whitner underwent surgery on his thumb. McKelvin, the club's eighth-overall pick in 2008, suffered a cracked fibula in the second half of Buffalo's 27-7 loss to New Orleans on Sunday. Head coach Dick Jauron did not give a timetable for his return, but strongly hinted it will be longer than just for next Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. In three games this season, he racked up 11 tackles. Jauron said Whitner will be week-to-week while recovering from the procedure but has not been ruled out for Sunday. In three contests, he recorded 23 tackles and one interception for a 76-yard touchdown.
