Oakland, CA (My Sportsbook) - Correll Buckhalter gained 108 yards on 14 carries and Kyle Orton threw for 157 yards and a touchdown to lead the Denver Broncos in a 23-3 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

Orton finished 13-for-23 passing for the Broncos (3-0), who host the Cowboys next week. Knowshon Moreno added 90 yards and a score on 21 touches, while Brandon Marshall had a TD catch and now has 3,027 receiving yards for his career.

"We've got a long way to go, a lot of things to improve on," said Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels. "We're happy with being 3-0. Certainly, not satisfied with the way we've played in any one game."

JaMarcus Russell was a less-than-stellar 12-of-21 for 61 yards with two interceptions for the Raiders (1-2), who play at Houston next week. Darren McFadden tallied 45 yards on 12 carries and Louis Murphy led all Oakland receivers with 25 yards on two grabs.

"I know how much work we have to do to get to where we want to be," said Oakland head coach Tom Cable. "More than anything, I'm disappointed because, as we talked about all week, if you can come out of this game (with a) 2-1 (record), you set where you want to be going into the last game of the first quarter. It's very disappointing."

The Broncos took the second possession of the game from their own 31 all the way down to the goal line. However, as the team decided to go for it LaMont Jordan was stuffed up the middle and Oakland took over.

Russell was intercepted on the ensuing Raiders touch, and Denver took advantage.

The team went 23 yards in six plays, capped by a two-yard Marshall TD catch, to assume a 7-0 lead with about two minutes left. Matt Prater added a 48-yard field goal later in the first to make it 10-0.

Sebastian Janikowski hit a 48-yard boot in the second and Prater countered with a 21-yarder to make it 13-3 at the break.

Moreno punched in a seven-yard score about four minutes into the third quarter to make it 20-3. Moreno's score capped the eight-play, 80-yard drive that opened the second half.

Prater notched a 24-yard field goal early in the fourth to make it a 20-point game.

Game Notes

The Broncos outgained the Raiders, 372-137...Denver has won six of the past seven at Oakland...Orton is 24-12 as a starter...Oakland had nine first downs, while Denver had 21.
