Sinsheim, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Vedad Ibisevic scored three goals in the first 21 minutes as Hoffenheim rolled to a 5-1 win over last-placed Hertha Berlin at Rhein Neckar Arena on Sunday. Ibisevic scored in the game's first minute and then added another in the fourth before completing his hat trick in the 21st. Raffael pulled a goal back for Hertha right before halftime, but second-half goals from Chinedu Obasi and Carlos Eduardo five minutes apart sealed the win. With the victory, Hoffenheim moves into third place, three points back of leaders Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen, while Hertha has now lost six of its first seven games. Ibisevic needed just 44 seconds to open the scoring when he volleyed home a cross from Obasi, while he used his head to finish off an Eduardo corner kick to make it 2-0 inside of five minutes. Andreas Beck then played provider in the 21st minute with a cross that was nodded home by Ibisevic, but Hertha was able to pull one back right before the break with a well-struck free kick from Raffael. Obasi restored the three-goal advantage after he was set up by Luiz Gustavo, and the game was put out of reach five minutes later when Ibisevic drew a foul inside the area and Eduardo held his nerve from the spot. Sunday's other contest saw Freiburg pick up its third win of the season as they downed Monchengladbach, 3-0.
