Winnipeg, MB (My Sportsbook) - Michael Bishop threw for 312 yards and a pair of touchdown passes, as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers withstood a late charge from the Toronto Argonauts to claim a 29-24 victory.
Fred Reid rushed for 60 yards and caught a 24-yard touchdown pass while Otis Amey snagged six passes for 118 yards.
Adarius Bowman had five receptions for 88 yards and an 11-yard touchdown for Winnipeg (4-8), which halted a three-game slide, and until Saturday had shared the basement of the Eastern Conference with Toronto.
Alexis Serna kicked four field goals for the victors.
Cody Pickett completed 13-of-22 passes for 98 yards while Kerry Joseph was picked twice on 9-of-16 attempts with 105 passing yards. Joseph ran for the Argos' lone offensive touchdown and Justin Medlock connected for three field goals.
Jamal Robertson gained just 42 yards on the ground and fumbled while Jason Carter caught eight passes for 67 yards for Toronto (3-9), which has lost seven of its last eight games.
Following a Bombers single to open the scoring, it was a game of field goals until Bishop hit Reid for a 24-yard score and a 17-6 lead. Medlock added his third field goal of the first half to cut the lead to 17-9 at the half.
Bishop found Bowman for an 11-yard score coming out of the break and a conceded safety and Serna's final boot gave the Bombers a 29-9 advantage after three quarters.
Toronto's special teams came up with a big play to open the fourth, scoring on Kyle Jones' recovery of a blocked punt. Medlock added a single and Joseph ran it in for a three-yard score during a failed fourth-quarter comeback as the deficit ultimately proved too big to overcome.
