Frisco, TX (My Sportsbook) - FC Dallas earned an impressive 3-0 victory over Major League Soccer Western Conference rivals Real Salt Lake on Saturday night in league action. Jeff Cunningham had two goals, David Ferreira had a goal and an assist and Dave van den Bergh two assists to lead the Hoops (8-12-6) to victory. Even with the win, Dallas' playoff chances are nonexistent, being seven points out with four games to play, but the offensive explosion continued a trend the team hopes it can build on. Dallas leads MLS with 41 goals, including 22 in their last eight league fixtures. Real Salt Lake's playoff chances take a devastating blow with their second straight loss, meaning its final three games are must-wins to even have a shot. Dallas will aim to continue its spoiler role when it hosts New England on Wednesday, while RSL (9-11-7) hosts New York on Oct. 14 in its next league fixture.
