Calgary, AB (My Sportsbook) - Henry Burris rushed for two touchdowns and threw another, leading Calgary to a 27-18 victory over British Columbia.

Burris finished with 197 passing yards on 14-of-27 throws, adding 56 yards on the ground for the Stampeders (7-5), who were locked in a three-way tie for first place in the Western Division with Edmonton and Saskatchewan.

Joffrey Reynolds amassed 151 yards on 17 carries, while Jermaine Copeland caught four balls for 57 yards and a score for the victors.

Buck Pierce ended with 230 yards with a touchdown and an interception on 17- of-27 efficiency for the Lions (5-7), who had won two of three coming in. Martell Mallett rushed for 136 yards and a TD on 15 carries in defeat.

After a scoreless first quarter, both teams lit up the scoreboard in the second frame.

BC got things started on Mallett's 25-yard jaunt to paydirt early on, and Burris scored shortly thereafter on a seven-yard keeper.

A Pierce to Paris Jackson TD hookup on the ensuing drive made it 14-7, but an 11-yard Sandro DeAngelis field goal and Burris's one-yard sneak across the goal line just before halftime gave Calgary the lead.

Sean Whyte tied the game with an 18-yarder in the early stages of the third, but the Stampeders had an answer, as Copeland was able to keep his feet inbounds on a five-yard toss from Burris with five minutes left in the third.

Whyte recorded a single before the final stanza, and that was as close as the Lions got.

DeAngelis's 39-yard boot midway through the fourth accounted for the final margin.
