Detroit, MI (My Sportsbook) - Detroit linebacker Ernie Sims was listed as doubtful for Sunday's home game against the Washington Redskins. Sims, who has 14 tackles on the young season, suffered a shoulder injury in last week's loss against Minnesota. He did not participate at all in practice this week. He is one of five defenders on the injured list as defensive end Cliff Avril (hamstring) and cornerback Eric King (shoulder) are both listed as doubtful, while cornerback Phillip Buchanon (neck) and defensive end Andre Fluellen (knee) are both list as questionable. Avril and Sims were the only two Lions to miss practice all week while King missed Thursday's and Friday's practice. Detroit is 0-2 on the season and is hoping to snap a 19-game losing streak. |
