Arlington, TX (My Sportsbook) - Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber, who is dealing with a left quadriceps strain, practiced on a limited basis Thursday. Head coach Wade Phillips said Barber could be a game-time decision, and his comments came a day after the running back said he felt good and hoped to play Monday night against Carolina. In Wednesday's practice, Barber appeared to be running without much of a problem and took part in some passing drills. The team was not required to issue a practice report then because the Cowboys don't play until Monday. Barber said the injury felt like a cramp and left his leg sore, but is otherwise feeling good. He suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter in this past Sunday's loss to the Giants, finishing with 124 yards and a score on 18 carries. An MRI exam Monday revealed the strain. The Cowboys also have backs Felix Jones and Tashard Choice, should Barber not be ready.
