Seattle, WA (My Sportsbook) - Candace Parker scored 22 points, as the Los Angeles Sparks beat the Seattle Storm, 75-64, to win their three-game Western Conference semifinal series. The Sparks won the first game before dropping the second, by a point, on Friday. They now move on to the conference championship series against either San Antonio or Phoenix, which are tied in their series. The decisive third game will be played Monday. Parker also had eight rebounds, as did Lisa Leslie, who scored 13 points in the win. DeLisha Milton-Jones finished with 11 points and nine boards for the Sparks, while Tina Thompson finished with 12 points. Swin Cash ended with 21 points and 10 rebounds for Seattle, which got 15 points from Sue Bird. The Sparks held a 60-40 lead heading into the fourth quarter and held off a Storm team that poured in 24 points in the final stanza. However, it was not enough for Seattle, which ended its season in the same way as 2008. LA won a Western semifinal series, 2-1, against Seattle last season.
