Glasgow, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - Glenn Loovens netted the game-winning goal in stoppage time to take Celtic to the top of the Scottish Premier League with a 2-1 win over Hearts on Sunday. The Hoops fell behind just five minutes into the game on a goal from Suso Santana, but Chris Killen leveled the match with a header 10 minutes after the restart and Loovens headed home the winner from close range following a corner kick to move Celtic two points clear of Rangers. Poor play in midfield by Celtic's Scott Brown led to the opening goal as Santana picked up the ball and carried it towards goal before unleashing a shot from 25 yards. Goalkeeper Artur Boruc appeared to be in position to make the save, but he allowed the ball to slip between his fingertips and find its way into the back of the net. A response nearly came in the 26th minute when Shaun Maloney's free kick crashed off the crossbar, but the home side had to wait until the second half to crack scoreboard. Killen tested Hearts goalkeeper Janos Balogh with a strong 30-yard effort that was parried, but the ball fell to Maloney on the left and he served it back into the box for Killen to head home. The hosts were now full of confidence and they saw two shots denied by the woodwork shortly after as Aiden McGeady and Scott McDonald both came within inches of putting their team in front. However, the winner arrived right before the final whistle as a corner kick from Danny Fox was headed towards the front of goal by McGeady, allowing Loovens to bury the winner with his head.
