Alkmaar, Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - Lorenzo Davids scored with just three minutes remaining, leading NEC to a stunning win at defending Dutch Eredivisie champion AZ Alkmaar, 1-0, on Saturday. AZ, which lost just four times last season, dropped its third game of the year though seven matches. NEC won its second match of the season, and first on the road. Davids turned one of NEC's rare chances into the winner in the final minutes when he picked up the ball about 25 yards out and beat goalie Sergio Romero with a left-footed shot. Also Saturday, Mads Junker scored twice to lead Roda to a 2-0 win over NAC, Santi Kolk's penalty kick was the match-winner in Vitesse's 3-1 win over RKC Waalwijk and Darl Douglas scored the tying goal in Heracles' 1-1 draw against Sparta. Willem II opened the week Friday with a 2-1 win at Groningen. On Sunday, Den Haag hosts Utrecht, Heerenveen hosts Twente, Feyenoord hosts PSV Eindhoven and Venlo hosts Ajax.
