East Rutherford, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New York Giants defensive end Chris Canty will miss Sunday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys with a calf injury. Canty spent his first four years with the Cowboys before the Giants signed the free agent defensive tackle in the offseason. Canty suffered the injury during Wednesday's practice. The 6-foot-7, 304-pound Virginia product recorded two tackles during New York's 23-17 victory over the Redskins in Week 1. Canty has recorded 150 tackles and 10 sacks in 65 career games. Canty will miss his first career game on Sunday. Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (foot) and cornerback Aaron Ross (hamstring) have also been ruled out for Sunday night's contest. Starting safety Kenny Phillips (knee) and cornerback Kevin Dockery (hamstring) are both listed as questionable.
