Renton, WA (My Sportsbook) - Seattle Seahawks starting linebacker Leroy Hill is expected to be sidelined for two weeks due to a lower stomach or groin injury. Head coach Jim Mora announced the status for Hill Monday and also said Will Herring will start in his place. "We love Leroy, and we obviously think he's a great player or we wouldn't have done the things we did to resign him," said Mora. "But Will is going to step in and we're just going to keep going. That's the mindset you have to take." Middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu hurt his hamstring during Sunday's 28-0 win over St. Louis, but he should be fine to play this weekend at San Francisco. The Seahawks also signed linebacker D.D. Lewis and waived defensive end Derek Walker Monday. Lewis spent last season in Seattle and played in 14 games with two starts. He was released at the conclusion of this year's preseason. "We're lucky he's still there and we're lucky he wanted to rejoin us," said Mora. "D.D. is a guy that a lot of players on this team have a lot of respect for, and he has been a captain, so the guys were excited to have him back in the locker room."
