Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - Jiyai Shin won for the sixth time on the LPGA Tour on Sunday and took over the No. 2 spot in the world rankings. Lorena Ochoa remained No. 1, while Shin's move bumped Suzann Pettersen, Yani Tseng and Cristie Kerr down one spot apiece to round out the top five. Paula Creamer held steady in the sixth spot, while Angela Stanford was up one to seven and Karrie Webb slipped one to eighth. In Kyung Kim remained No. 9 and was again followed by Ai Miyazato, Song-Hee Kim, Helen Alfredsson, Eun-Hee Ji, Anna Nordqvist, Catriona Matthew and Lindsey Wright. Na Yeon Choi inched up one to 17th and Shinobu Moromizato, a six-stroke winner in Japan on Sunday, jumped six to 18th. Kristy McPherson slipped a pair to 19th, while Michelle Wie was down one to 20th. Seon-Hwa Lee fell out of the top 20 as she dipped one to 21st. |
