Valladolid, Spain (My Sportsbook) - David Villa scored twice, and David Silva and Mata each scored one goal, leading Valencia to a 4-2 win over Valladolid on Sunday at Estadio Nuevo Jose Zorrilla. Silva opened the scoring in the 10th, and Villa added a goal on each side of halftime to help Valencia pull level with Real Madrid and Barcelona atop the Spanish La Liga. Valencia grabbed the lead when Mata drove a cross in from the right and Silva beat Valladolid goalie Jacobo. Mata added another goal before the break, making a run from midfield to direct the ball through Jacobo's legs to hand Valencia a 3-1 edge at the break. Villa broke Valladolid's offside trap in the 55th to add his second goal off a pass from Luis Miguel. Valladolid's Manucho capped the scoring in the 66th. Also Sunday, Giuseppe Rossi handed Villarreal a lead against Mallorca but his side settled for a 1-1 draw. Borja Valero netted the equalizer in the 75th. Filipe Kasmirski scored to lead Deportivo to a 1-0 win over Malaga, Diego Castro Gimenez lifted Sporting Gijon to a 1-0 victory over Almeria, Athletic Bilbao edged Xerez 1-0 on an own goal, and Ricardinho scored the match-winner as Tenerife defeated nine-man Osasuna 2-1 to wrap up the day's action.
