LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -The chancellor of the University of Arkansas says basketball coach John Pelphrey is ``the man who's going to turn it around'' after police investigated three players over an alleged rape. In an interview Friday with The Associated Press, Chancellor David Gearhart gave unqualified support to Pelphrey. He also said athletes ``are in the spotlight and when you're in the spotlight ... it brings greater responsibility.'' Prosecutors declined to charge the three players named in a complaint over an Aug. 27 incident at the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house.
