Dortmund, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Bayern Munich picked up its first away victory of the season on Saturday as the club scored five unanswered goals after falling behind in the opening 10 minutes to beat Borussia Dortmund, 5-1 at Signal Iduna Park.
Mats Hummels had the home side ahead after 10 minutes, but Mario Gomez equalized for Bayern before halftime, and the visitors exploded for four goals after the break.
Bastian Schweinsteiger put Bayern ahead five minutes after the restart with a well-struck shot from 25 yards, while Franck Ribery's perfectly-placed free kick made it 3-1. Thomas Muller then tallied his first Bundesliga goal in the 78th minute, and promptly added another 10 minutes later to cap the scoring.
Bayern had earned only one point from its first two away matches, and things started poorly for Louis van Gaal's side again.
A free kick from the right wing was swung into the box by Nuri Sahin, and Bayern defender Holger Badstuder was caught watching the ball, which allowed Hummels to slip in and head the ball home.
Bayern leveled the match through a set-piece of its own with a deflected header inside the six-yard box falling to Gomez at the back post, making for a simple finish from a few yards.
Schweinsteiger then put his side ahead with a rocket from outside the area that caught Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller off guard, while Ribery's well-taken free kick found the upper right corner, giving the keeper no chance.
Dortmund then handed Muller a goal in the 78th minute when a failed clearance gave the Bayern youngster the ball at the penalty spot and he fired it home, while a classy finish from Muller with two minutes to play capped a strong second half.
Hamburg remains on top of the table after beating Stuttgart, 3-1, while Bayer Leverkusen is second on goal difference after they handed Wolfsburg a 3-2 defeat with two goals from Simon Rolfes.
Mainz scored two times in the final 10 minutes to beat Hertha Berlin, 2-1, Hoffenheim beat up on Bochum, 3-0, Eintracht got second-half goals from Maik Franz and Alexander Meier to down Freiburg, 2-0, and Peer Kluge scored six minutes into the game as Nurnberg held off Monchengladbach, 1-0.
