Edmonton, AB (My Sportsbook) - Henry Burris completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jeremaine Copeland in the final minute to lift the Calgary Stampeders to a 35-34 comeback win over the Edmonton Eskimos.

The Stampeders (6-4) outscored the Esks 15-0 in the fourth quarter to pull out the win, their third in a row and second consecutive over Edmonton. Calgary won Monday's contest between the clubs by a 32-8 score.

Burris finished with 393 yards passing, three touchdowns and three interceptions on 20-of-36 completions. Burris added 60 yards and a score on the ground on seven carries.

Copeland had 117 yards and two TDs on five catches in the win, while Ryan Thelwell made four catches for 73 yards and a score.

Ricky Ray completed 18-of-29 throws for 185 yards, two scores and an interception for Edmonton (5-5), which has dropped three of five. Arkee Whitlock ran for 90 yards on 14 carries.

Trailing 34-20 heading into the final stanza, the Stampeders totally upended the Eskimos. Sandro DeAngelis' missed field goal of 43 yards resulted in a single, and after Edmonton punted, Calgary marched downfield on an authoritative scoring drive.

Burris completed his first four passes, starting with a 20-yarder to Thelwell and ending with a 24-yard toss to Copeland. Burris eventually capped the six- play, 93-yard drive with a four-yard run to the end zone with about 7 1/2 minutes to go.

After a series of punts by both teams, the Stampeders took over with 1:13 to play at its own 26. But Burris got his team into a more advantageous position with a 40-yard pass to Brett Ralph on the first play.

He then found Copeland for 24 yards as the clock rolled under a minute and went to Copeland again two plays later -- with about half a minute to go -- for an 18-yard TD strike.

DeAngelis' conversion point put Calgary on top, and time ran out on Edmonton, sealing the win for the Stampeders.

Ray's 22-yard TD pass to Fred Stamps opened the scoring in the first quarter, and DeAngelis' 44-yarder made it a 7-3 game heading to the second.

Calgary actually went into halftime with a 17-14 lead after scoring twice in the second. Burris had a 12-yard touchdown pass to Thelwell with 9 1/2 minutes to play, then completed a six-yarder to Copeland with a minute to go. Those scores came after Ray's four-yard TD pass to Jamaica Rector.

But Edmonton controlled the third quarter, scoring 20 points.

Noel Prefontaine hit a pair of field goals from 33 yards out, while Mathieu Bertrand had a one-yard scoring run. DeAngelis hit from 30 yards away, but Kai Ellis ran back a punt fumble recovery 40 yards in the final moments, giving the Esks a 34-20 advantage.

Game Notes

Kamau Peterson led the Esks with 63 receiving yards on three catches...Ray ran three times for 38 yards...Calgary compiled 459 total yards, compared to 268 for Edmonton...Jim Davis had three sacks for Calgary.
