Bremen, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Brazilian defender Naldo has agreed to a new long-term contract with Werder Bremen. The 27-year-old international has pledged his future to the Weserstadion outfit until summer 2013. "We are delighted to have been able to secure Naldo's services for another year," said general manager Klaus Allofs. "He is an important component of our game and has become one of the best defenders in the league." Coach Thomas Schaaf added: "It is great that Naldo has taken this decision.
