Milan, Italy (My Sportsbook) - AC Milan is upbeat about the chances of David Beckham returning to the San Siro at the end of the MLS season. Beckham, 34, will seek a loan move back to Europe when his season with the Los Angeles Galaxy ends in December as he looks to keep his place in the England squad ahead of the World Cup. The former England captain has already suggested that a return to Milan - where he spent six months on loan last season - is a possibility and club director Umberto Gandini also believes that Beckham could rejoin the Rossoneri. "We've done this before don't forget," Gandini told Bloomberg. "We have good relations with David, his representatives and also Major League Soccer. "We are very open. We are discussing the possibility of the agreement and we are aware of what David is saying, what David is thinking. "We have our convictions and therefore we think we are going towards a deal. "He's an icon, a brand. He's a lot of things for many people. For us he's an excellent player and we would like him back." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
