Auburn Hills, MI (My Sportsbook) - Deanna Nolan had 34 points, including a pair of three-pointers in overtime, as the Detroit Shock topped the New York Liberty, 94-87, at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Cheryl Ford, Shavonte Zellous and Kara Braxton each had 11 points for the Shock, who have won four of their last five games. Detroit is now just a half-game back of Atlanta for the second spot in the Eastern Conference. The Shock have one game to play while the Dream have two. Essence Carson had 28 points while Kia Vaughn added 15 points for the Liberty, who have dropped their last four games. Carson nailed a three-pointer with just six seconds left on the clock in regulation to force overtime, but Nolan started the extra session with consecutive three-pointers followed by a Zellous jumper with just over two minutes to play to win the game.
