Glasgow, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - China international Zheng Zhi will join Celtic on a two-year contract subject to securing a work permit. Bhoys boss Tony Mowbray moved to sign the free agent former Charlton midfielder on transfer deadline day. Mowbray had tried to sign the 29-year-old midfielder for former club West Bromwich last season. "Celtic are a great club with a great manager," Zhi told the Daily Record. "I'm so excited to be here and looking forward to playing with Celtic. "I'm very happy. I know Tony from his time at West Brom and I really liked him then. He tried to sign me a year ago, so it's good for me I was able to do that now." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
