Tampa, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed guard Marcus Johnson and released center Sean Mahan on Wednesday. Johnson is a four-year veteran out of Mississippi. He was a second-round pick by Minnesota in the 2005 draft and had spent all of his time in the NFL with the Vikings. He has appeared in 47 games and made 18 starts. Mahan played in 15 games for Tampa Bay last season. Originally a fifth-round pick by Tampa Bay in 2003, he has played six seasons in the NFL, five with the Bucs and one (2007) with Pittsburgh. Over that time he has appeared in 88 games, including 52 starts.
