New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Embattled defensive back Adam "Pacman" Jones has apparently found a home and has reportedly agreed to a contract with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. According to SI.com, Jones passed up an offer from the fledgling United Football League to join the CFL squad. "It'll be a good experience for me to get back in game shape and compete and play football, which I like to do," SI.com quoted Jones as saying. "I'm real happy for the opportunity that's been given to me. Of course it's disappointing to me to not be playing in the NFL. But things happen and you have to adjust." Jones spent last season with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys after a one-year suspension from the league. He played his first two seasons with the Tennessee Titans. Numerous run-ins with the law in his first two NFL seasons eventually led to a one-year banishment by commissioner Roger Goodell. After being reinstated, an altercation with a bodyguard last October resulted in another four-game penalty. The Cowboys cut ties with the former West Virginia standout in February and there were no offers from NFL teams this summer. In nine games for Dallas last season, Jones registered 31 tackles. He also returned seven kickoffs for a 22.1-yard average and added 21 punt returns for an average of 4.5 yards. For his career, Jones has 146 tackles, four interceptions and a touchdown in 39 games. He also has a 25.8-yard kickoff return average and a 9.6-yard punt return average with four scores.
