Oakland, CA (My Sportsbook) - Drew Brees threw two touchdowns and the New Orleans Saints crushed the Oakland Raiders, 45-7, in preseason action.

Brees went 14-for-17 with 179 yards while P.J. Hill had 83 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries for the Saints, who have won all three of their preseason games.

Jeff Garcia went 9-for-15 with 111 yards and a score for the Raiders, who have dropped their past two games. JaMarcus Russell started the game under center and went 12-for-18 for 153 yards.

It was all New Orleans in the first half as the team dominated play for the first 30 minutes.

On the first possession of the game, the Saints took a 7-0 lead as Heath Evans' four-yard touchdown run capped a 10-play drive that covered 80 yards.

Brees made it 14-0 with just over four minutes to play in the first as he found Devery Henderson for a 40-yard score.

In a drive that covered the end of the first and the beginning of the second quarter, Brees made it a 21-0 game on a five-yard touchdown strike to Lance Moore.

John Carney's 35-yard field goal later in the second made it a 24-point lead and Hill's one-yard touchdown run just after the two-minute warning helped the Saints take a 31-0 lead into the locker room.

Oakland managed just 60 yards in the first half.

Hill's 11-yard touchdown run accounted for the only points of the third quarter to give New Orleans a 38-0 lead.

Joey Harrington hooked up with Skyler Green on an 11-yard touchdown strike with about 8 1/2 minutes to play in the fourth to give the Saints a 45-0 advantage.

Jonathan Holland's 43-yard touchdown catch from Garcia with just over six minutes to play helped Oakland break the shutout.
