Glendale, AZ (My Sportsbook) - Aaron Rodgers threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns, and the Green Bay Packers held on for a 44-37 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in preseason action.

Rodgers completed 14-of-19 passes and also ran for 39 yards for the Packers, who have won each of their three preseason games. Jermichael Finley caught two touchdown passes, totaling four receptions for 28 yards in the win.

Jordy Nelson recorded a 76-yard touchdown reception to go with three total catches for 88 yards, and Aaron Kampman had a 24-yard fumble return for a score in the second quarter. The Packers first-team offense played the entire first half, and the team led, 38-10, at halftime.

Green Bay got a scare on the opening drive, as top wide receiver Greg Jennings was sandwiched by two defenders while making a 25-yard catch. He remained down on the field for several minutes before walking off under his own power. He did not return to the game and watched the rest of the half from the sideline. The official injury was termed as a "blow to the head."

Kurt Warner threw for 139 yards and an interception on 10-of-16 passing in the opening half, but Matt Leinart nearly led a comeback, as he went 24-of-38 for 360 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the second half. All three scoring passes came in the fourth quarter.

First-round pick Chris "Beanie" Wells made his debut for the Cardinals, running for 46 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. Jerheme Urban had six catches for 103 yards, while Early Doucet had five receptions for 93 yards and a score. Larry Fitzgerald recorded 75 receiving yards on five catches.

After trailing at halftime by 28, the Cardinals scored four consecutive touchdowns, with their final tally coming late in the fourth on a Leinart touchdown pass to Jason Wright to make it a one-point game, 38-37. However, Leinart's two-point conversion attempt failed, and Ruvell Martin returned the ensuing onside kick 39 yards to seal the win for Green Bay.

Game Notes

Charles Woodson recorded two sacks and three forced fumbles on defense for the Packers...These two teams face off in Glendale the final week of the regular season...Ryan Grant gained 22 yards on five carries for Green Bay...Tim Hightower had 38 yards rushing on six carries for Arizona.
