Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - Three-time Craftsman Truck Series champion Jack Sprague earned the pole for tonight's Power Stroke Diesel 200 at the Indianapolis Raceway Park. The No.16 Chevrolet won the pole with a best lap of 22.395 seconds (110.275 m.p.h.). The pole victory was Sprague's fourth of the season and 24th of his truck career. "Our Chevy Trucks Silverado is pretty good," said Sprague just before going out to qualify. "I really like it when we start out like this because we have the luxury of trying things for the race. When you have to chase the truck in practice, especially on a one-day deal like it is here at IRP, you are at a huge disadvantage for the qualifying and then the race." Starting on the front row with Sprague will be another veteran - Bobby Hamilton. The No.4 Dodge circled the 0.686-mile short track in 22.504 seconds. Michigan winner Travis Kvapil (22.555) and Mike Skinner (22.579) will make up row two. Series points leader Dennis Setzer will start 13th in the 36-truck field. Through 13 events he leads Hamilton by 33 points (1,971-1,938). The race is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. (et).
