Sunriver, OR (My Sportsbook) - Brad Bryant managed only an even-par 72 on Friday, but it was enough to keep the lead midway through the Jeld-Wen Tradition. Bryant, gunning for his second major, finished two rounds at Crosswater Club at 10-under 134 to hold off a hard-charging Fred Funk by a shot. Funk, the defending champion, fired a five-under 67 and moved into second place at nine-under 135. Loren Roberts (71), John Cook (67) and Larry Mize (67) shared third place at eight-under 136, while Lonnie Nielsen (67), Mike Reid (67) and Eduardo Romero (68) were another stroke further back at 137. Bryant, a four-time Champions Tour winner, claimed his only major at the 2007 U.S. Senior Open. He took the second-round lead for fourth time on tour -- but the first time in a 72-hole tournament.
