Seville, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Sevilla believe they have pulled off a major transfer coup after landing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo. The highly-rated 23-year-old had been expected to join Hull City after the Premier League club had a $20 million offer accepted. But Negredo, who impressed while on loan at Almeria last season, has decided to stay in La Liga after agreeing to join the Andalucian club. "He is a player that I have always liked, he can fit into any team," said coach Manolo Jimenez. "Strengthening Sevilla's attack is difficult but his presence will improve the level of Freddie Kanoute and Luis Fabiano. "Sevilla now has the No. 9 of Brazil, the No. 9 of Mali and the future No. 9 of Spain." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
