Hannover, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Hannover has parted company with coach Dieter Hecking just two games into the new Bundesliga season. Hecking had been under pressure after his side picked up just one point from their two opening league games and were dumped out of the German Cup by lower division opposition. The coach tendered his resignation on Wednesday and the board at the AWD-Arena decided to accept. "This development hits me very hard personally," said club president Martin Kind. "I have known and admired Dieter Hecking as a special person and coach. "After a difficult season, we wanted to lead into a successful new beginning together, but this has not happened. "Despite the difficult present situation, it has got to be said that Dieter Hecking and Hannover worked excellently together and were right for each other." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
