Los Angeles, CA (My Sportsbook) - Lisa Leslie finished with 20 points while Candace Parker had 15 points and 12 rebounds to help the Los Angeles Sparks hold on for a 72-69 win over the Washington Mystics. Marie Ferdinand-Harris added nine points off the bench for the Sparks, who have won two in a row. Tina Thompson had seven points and six boards in the victory. Matee Ajavon scored 20 points off the bench for the Mystics, who have dropped two in a row and four of five. Washington's last four games have been decided by four or fewer points. Lindsey Harding and Alana Beard added 19 and 10 points, respectively, in the setback. The Sparks' last nine points were free throws, including two from Ferdinand- Harris with 45.9 seconds left that gave the team the lead for good. A Harding layup got Washington within 70-69 with 11.4 seconds remaining, but Parker sank two with 10.4 on the clock to seal the win.
