Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - Calgary Stampeders wide receiver Jeremaine Copeland, Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive end John Chick, Toronto Argonauts kicker Justin Medlock and BC Lions slot back Paris Jackson were named the CFL's top players for the seventh week of the season on Tuesday. Copeland, the Offensive Player of the Week, hauled in a career-high 11 balls for 182 yards and two touchdowns, including a go-ahead 20-yard score with 38 seconds left for Calgary, which wound up losing to Edmonton, 38-35. Chick logged two sacks and forced a fumble for the Roughriders, leading the club to a 33-23 victory over Hamilton en route to picking up the Defensive Player of the Week honor. Toronto's Medlock was a unanimous selection as Special Teams Player of the Week, nailing all seven of his field goal attempts, including a 52-yarder and two from 51 yards out in a 36-28 loss to the Lions. Jackson had a part in BC's win, recording six receptions for 122 yards and two touchdowns to pick up his second Canadian Player of the Week award this season.
