Alameda, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Oakland Raiders have signed veteran cornerback Ricky Manning Jr. Manning played in five games for the Rams last season before having his season cut short by a foot injury suffered in Week 6 against Washington. Originally a third-round pick by Carolina out of UCLA in 2003, Manning appeared in all but one regular-season game over his first five seasons in the league with the Panthers and Bears. His best season came in 2006 after signing with Chicago in the offseason. The 28-year-old totaled 53 tackles, two sacks and five interceptions, returning one for a touchdown. He also had an interception during the divisional playoffs against Seattle. The Raiders also released tight end/fullback John Paul Foschi.
