Nashville, TN (My Sportsbook) - Vince Young looked strong in his second preseason appearance, throwing for 131 yards and a touchdown in Tennessee's 27-20 win over Tampa Bay to open the Buccaneers' preseason schedule.

Young completed 9-of-14 passes and did not throw an interception in his four drives -- two of which ended with points for the Titans, who also defeated the Bills in the Hall of Fame Game last Sunday.

Kerry Collins got the start but struggled, completing 4-of-9 throws for 37 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Rookie running back Javon Ringer ran for 51 yards and a score on seven carries, and first-round draft pick wide receiver Kenny Britt made his debut and caught five balls for 89 yards and a score.

Another Titans rookie, Ryan Mouton, returned an interception for a touchdown in the win.

Luke McCown started at quarterback for the Bucs, who are now under the direction of new head coach Raheem Morris. Morris, 32, is the youngest head coach in the NFL after taking over for Jon Gruden. McCown was not very impressive, though, throwing for 19 yards on 4-of-8 passing.

Byron Leftwich threw for 61 yards and a score while completing 6-of-14 passes, while first-round pick Josh Freeman went 5-for-9 passing for 52 yards with an interception.

Rob Bironas made a 36-yard field goal for the first quarter's only score, but Brian Clark's 24-yard touchdown reception from Leftwich in the second put Tampa Bay ahead.

The Bucs added a safety later in the quarter, and Bironas and Mike Nugent each hit a field goal from 40- and 51-yards out, respectively, as the halftime score was 12-6.

Britt and Ringer each scored a touchdown in the third to put Tennessee in front, and Mouton's defensive score made it 27-12 early in the fourth.

Josh Johnson, the fourth player to play quarterback for the Bucs, ran for a 43-yard score late in the fourth and executed a successful two-point conversion to account for the final margin.

Game Notes

Derrick Ward, the Bucs' new running back, ran for nine yards on four carries, while new tight end Kellen Winslow, Jr. caught one pass for five yards...Each team committed two turnovers.
