Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - An Atlanta jury acquitted Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall Friday of domestic violence charges against ex- girlfriend, Rasheedah Watley. It took less than an hour for a jury of four women and two men to acquit Marshall of the alleged incident that took place in March of 2008. Watley accused Marshall of pushing her on a bed and grabbing her neck. Prosecutors also showed several photos of evidence showing Watley's neck and face the morning after their supposed fight. She testified Marshall had assaulted her on several occasions at the Atlanta condominium they shared. The 25-year-old Marshall missed a game last season for violating the personal conduct policy, a suspension that was originally three games and reduced to one. Entering his fourth season in the NFL out of Central Florida, Marshall has recorded 100-plus receptions in each of the past two seasons. He boasts 15 career touchdowns to go with 2,899 yards.
