Chaska, MN (My Sportsbook) - Trevor Immelman has withdrawn from the PGA Championship because of a nagging wrist injury. The 29-year-old South African will miss his third consecutive major because of the injured left wrist, which he said he tweaked while hitting out of the rough Sunday during the final round of the Bridgestone Invitational. "Seriously frustrated at this point," Immelman wrote Tuesday on his Twitter feed. The 2008 Masters champion will be replaced in the field by Bob Estes when the final major of the season gets underway Thursday at Hazeltine National. Estes was the first alternate.
