Stupples makes big move in women's world rankings

Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - Karen Stupples won the Ladies European Tour event on Sunday, helping her jump 10 places in the women's world golf rankings.

Stupples, the 2004 Women's British Open champion, moved up to No. 40 this week.

Ahead of Stupples, there was little change to the top 20.

Lorena Ochoa remains No. 1 and was trailed by Yani Tseng, Cristie Kerr, Jiyai Shin, Paula Creamer, Suzann Pettersen, Karrie Webb, Angela Stanford, In Kyung Kim and Helen Alfredsson.

Ai Miyazato held steady at No. 11 and was followed by Eun-Hee Ji, Song-Hee Kim, Catriona Matthew, Lindsey Wright, Na Yeon Choi, Candie Kung and Kristy McPherson.

Anna Nordqvist jumped three places to No. 19, and Katherine Hull dipped one to 20th this week. Hee-Won Han fell from 20th to 22nd.
