Renton, WA (My Sportsbook) - The Seattle Seahawks signed linebacker Aaron Curry on Saturday. The fourth overall pick of the 2009 draft, Curry had missed the first eight days of the Seahawks' training camp. While terms of the deal were not disclosed, the Seattle Times is reporting it to be a six-year deal worth $60 million, with $34 million guaranteed. It would be the largest rookie contract in NFL history for a non-quarterback. In his senior season at Wake Forest, he recorded 105 tackles, including 16 for a loss and won the Butkus Award for the top college linebacker of the season. In his collegiate career, he totaled 332 tackles, 9 1/2 sacks and six interceptions. To make room on the roster, the team released wide receiver Billy McMullen.
