Barcelona, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez is facing a race against time to be fit for the start of the new season after picking up a calf injury. The Mexico international had only just returned to action following a knee ligament injury picked up in the Champions League semifinal clash with Chelsea in April. He has now been ruled out of the remainder of the European champions' preseason tour to the United States. He will miss Mexico's World Cup qualifier against the USA on Aug. 12 and the Spanish Super Cup first leg against Athletic Bilbao on Aug. 16.
