Santa Clara, CA (My Sportsbook) - San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Jones will miss an extended period of time after suffering a slight fracture of his right shoulder during Thursday's practice. Jones, who San Fran signed as a free agent in the offseason, will not need surgery on his shoulder but is expected to be sidelined up to two months. The Oklahoma product had spent all four of his NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans, who selected him in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Jones played in 16 games for the Titans in 2008, recording 41 catches for 449 yards and one touchdown. For his career, the 26-year-old has 112 catches for 1,380 yards and nine TDs.
