Las Vegas, NV (My Sportsbook) - Former NFL quarterback Tim Rattay has signed with the Las Vegas entry for the new United Football League. Rattay spent eight seasons in the NFL, including six with the San Francisco 49ers. He also played with Tampa Bay and Arizona, but did not make an NFL roster last season. The former Louisiana Tech star has thrown for 4,853 yards with 31 touchdowns and 23 interceptions in his NFL career. His most extensive action came in 2004 with the 49ers, when he made nine starts, threw 10 TD passes and 10 picks while being sacked 37 times. Rattay is the second former starting NFL quarterback to join Las Vegas, as former Bills signal-caller J.P. Losman signed with the team last month. Las Vegas, guided by former New York Giants head coach Jim Fassel, is one of four teams that will play in the UFL's inaugural season this fall. The others are New York, with Ted Cottrell at the helm, San Francisco, led by Dennis Green, and Orlando, fronted by Jim Haslett.
