Madrid, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo has emerged as a possible transfer target for Roma. The 23-year-old impressed while on loan at Almeria last season, but has now returned to the Bernabeu, where his first-team opportunities are likely to be limited. Negredo's agent, Alejandro Camano, has admitted that his client would consider a loan switch to Italy. He told Radio Radio: "Real would let go of the player, but not sell him. Their goal is to sell him on a temporary basis and then redeem him later. "Italian football is very important. Along with Spanish and English it is the best in the world, but there is nothing concrete with any Italian team. "Roma is a great team. For Negredo it would be an honour to play for clubs at that level. "He is a player capable of scoring 20 goals per season and showed that at Almeria." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
