Mankato, MN (My Sportsbook) - The Minnesota Vikings agreed to a contract with first-round draft pick Percy Harvin on Sunday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports the pact is for five years. Harvin, who starred for the University of Florida as both running back and receiver and was selected by Minnesota 22nd overall, is expected to arrive at training camp by the end of the day. The 21-year-old native of Virginia Beach racked up 659 yards and 10 touchdowns on 70 carries, adding 40 receptions for 644 yards and seven scores during his junior season in 2008 for the national champion Gators. Over the course of his three-year tenure in Gainesville, Harvin became the first player in school history to reach the 1,000-yard rushing and 1,000-yard receiving marks. He also set team records for wide receivers with 32 total touchdowns (19 rushing, 13 receiving) and 1,852 rushing yards. With the signing, the Vikings have all of their 2009 draft picks under contract.
