Calgary, AB (My Sportsbook) - Darian Durant's 65-yard touchdown throw to Chris Getzlaf with 1:18 remaining in the game was the difference, as the Saskatchewan Roughriders took a 24-23 win over the Calgary Stampeders.

Durant completed 18-of-30 passes for 282 yards and three scores, with one interception, for the Roughriders (3-2), who snapped a two-game slide. Getzlaf finished with five catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns, while Weston Dressler had nine catches for 107 yards and one TD.

Wes Cates led Saskatchewan's running attack with 98 yards on 16 carries.

Henry Burris was 17-for-28 passing for 224 yards and one TD for Calgary (2-3), whose last-minute attempts to go back in front were unsuccessful. The Stampeders had won their last two games, in which they scored 92 total points.

Burris ran for one score and 38 yards on four carries, while Joffrey Reynolds had 112 rushing yards on 14 attempts.

The Roughriders led, 17-13, heading into the final quarter, though Calgary went in front with the frame's first TD.

Burris led the Stampeders downfield and got some help when Saskatchewan was called for pass interference, which brought Calgary across midfield. Burris then completed a 12-yard pass to Jeremaine Copeland before he tossed an 11- yarder to Brett Ralph to advance the ball to the 23-yard line.

Two plays later, Burris tore off on an 18-yard run into the end zone to give Calgary a 20-17 edge with a little under nine minutes left.

After the Roughriders punted, the Stampeders added a 26-yard field goal from Sandro DeAngelis to make it a 23-17 game with under five minutes left.

Saskatchewan had to punt on its next possession, but Calgary was unsuccessful on its next drive, as DeAngelis missed a 51-yarder.

The Roughriders got the ball back with 1:32 to play at their own 45 and made quick work of the drive. After one incomplete pass, Durant found Getzlaf behind the secondary down the middle of the field for the 65-yard TD, hitting his receiver in stride. The extra point put Saskatchewan in front by one.

Calgary had two more chances to score, but each drive ended on a 3rd-and-10. Burris' long heave to Ralph with under 30 seconds left was knocked down by Donovan Alexander, sealing the win for the Riders.

Durant's nine-yard TD pass to Getzlaf opened the scoring in the first quarter, though Calgary responded with a 10-yard TD pass from Burris to Jon Cornish to make it a 7-7 game heading into the second stanza.

DeAngelis added field goals of 12 and 35 yards, respectively, in the second quarter, but a Luca Congi 18-yard field goal just before the half got the Roughriders within 13-10.

Saskatchewan had the only score of the third quarter, a 19-yard touchdown throw from Durant to Dressler.

Game Notes

Congi was just 1-for-3 on field goal attempts, while DeAngelis was 3- for-4...The Roughriders had 442 total yards, compared to 369 for Calgary.
