Ticha Penicheiro chipped in with 12 points, nine assists and six boards, while DeMya Walker went for 14 points for the Monarchs, who have won two of their last three after dropping the previous six contests. Becky Hammon scored a game-high 38 points and dished out six assists, and Sophia Young had a solid game with 29 points and 11 boards for San Antonio, which had a brief two-game winning streak halted. Sacramento shot 47.9 percent from the field, but only 20 percent (2-of-10) from three-point range. San Antonio shot 40.5 percent from the floor and 27.3 percent from beyond the arc. |
