Madrid, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Deportivo manager Miguel Angel Lotina has been quoted in the Spanish press as declaring an interest in Tottenham forward Giovani Dos Santos. Deportivo could lose Angel Lafita, who is attracting interest from Real Zaragoza, and Lotina is lining up Dos Santos as a replacement. Dos Santos made little impact with Spurs following his arrival from Barcelona and was loaned to Championship outfit Ipswich Town last season. The Mexico international was named as player of the tournament in the recent CONCACAF Gold Cup, which his side won. AS quoted Lotina as saying: "I know Giovani very well. Last year we spoke to him, but then Tottenham came in. "As for Lafita, well, there is nothing. But if he goes then we will start with plan B.
