Minneapolis, MN (My Sportsbook) - Tina Thompson scored 30 points and pulled down eight rebounds to pace the Los Angeles Sparks to a 76-70 win over the Minnesota Lynx. Thompson had 15 of her points in the final quarter as the Sparks snapped a three-game skid. Candace Parker added 12 points and 10 rebounds, while DeLisha Milton-Jones and Betty Lennox each chimed in with 11 points in the win. Roneeka Hodges tallied 14 points for the Lynx, who lost for the third time in four contests. Tasha Humphrey came off the bench for 11 points and Charde Houston ended with 10 in defeat. Thompson's three-point play gave LA the lead for good at 62-61 with 4:04 remaining. She had eight of 10 points for the visitors during one stretch in the fourth quarter. |
