Englewood, CO (My Sportsbook) - The Denver Broncos signed cornerback Alphonso Smith, a second-round selection in this year's NFL Draft. Smith, chosen 37th overall out of Wake Forest, agreed to terms on a four-year contract. He was a four-year starter for the Demon Deacons after red-shirting in 2004 and owns the ACC record for career interceptions with 21. Smith finished his career with 188 tackles. He had seven interceptions as a senior. |
