Owings Mills, MD (My Sportsbook) - The Baltimore Ravens have signed wide receiver Drew Bennett to a one-year contract. The deal comes less than two weeks since Derrick Mason, who was the leading receiver on the Ravens last year, said he considers himself retired. "It's good to be able at this time of year to pick up a player who has been very productive in the league, and that includes against our defense," said Baltimore general manager Ozzie Newsome. "He has been very competitive against us. We obviously liked his workout today." Bennett has 307 receptions for 4,412 yards and 28 touchdowns in eight years in the league. He played in the season-opener for the Rams in 2008, but missed the remainder of the campaign due to a fractured foot.
